At present, artificial intelligence technological innovation has entered an unprecedentedly active period. Within the framework of the International Atomic Energy Agency, AI-related thinking and practices have attracted great attention from Member States and the Secretariat. In this regards, China advocates upholding openness and win-win cooperation, driving innovative development, strengthening risk awareness, and ensuring safety and controllability. China initiated the establishment of the World AI Cooperation Organization (WAICO), aiming to support Global South countries in accelerating AI development, enhancing their comprehensive capacities in innovation, application, and governance, and bridging the intelligence divide. China is ready to strengthen communication with all parties to jointly promote exchanges, cooperation, and governance in the field of AI within the IAEA, and to promote AI globally for the positive, for good and for humanity.
