China and GRULAC Hold the Second Dialogue on Multilateral Affairs in Vienna

On April 17, Ambassador Li Song, Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Vienna, held the second Dialogue on Multilateral Affairs in Vienna with Permanent Representatives of 17 member states of the GRULAC.

Ambassador Li Song elaborated on President Xi Jinping’s four major global initiatives as well as the four-point proposal on promoting peace and stability in the Middle East, and pointed out China-Latin America relations are witnessing strong momentum, with increasingly close coordination and cooperation in multilateral affairs. China stands ready to work with GRULAC to further strengthen communication and coordination within the Vienna-based multilateral platforms, jointly implement the four global initiatives, uphold the authority of the United Nations, enhance the representation and voice of the Global South, in order to promote the establishment of a more just and equitable global governance system.

Permanent Representatives of GRULAC spoke highly of the important visions and initiatives put forward by President Xi Jinping, and emphasized their willingness to strengthen coordination and cooperation with China to jointly advance the development and revitalization of the United Nations.
