On 1 December, the United Nations Office at Vienna held  the annual observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. The event was attended by more than 100 participants, including permanent representatives of permanent mission in Vienna and senior representatives of international organizations in Vienna. Ambassador Li Song attended the meeting.

Ambassador Li delivered the congratulatory message sent by President Xi Jinping to the UN Special Commemorative Meeting in Observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. Ambassador Li noted that this is the 13th consecutive year that President Xi has extended congratulations to the commemorative meeting, which fully demonstrates China’s steadfast support for the just cause of the Palestinian people in restoring their legitimate national rights, and reflects China’s commitment to upholding fairness and justice in international affairs.
